PHP is dead they said. Yet it is supported almost everywhere. Ask how quickly new releases arrive, how long old ones keep receiving them, and whether an upgrade is a switch or a migration. Composer support and a writable deployment path matter more in practice than the language badge. A host can run PHP and still make a modern framework awkward to deploy. Most software sits on top of it: WordPress and Drupal, Laravel and Symfony, Craft CMS, Kirby and Magento.

112 providers run PHP, listed alphabetically. Across 44 countries, commonest entry price $5 to $15 a month. 31 records do not record this field, and cannot appear here either way. For 12 the question does not apply.
