An account holds a balance, resources draw against it as they are used, and there are no tiers to choose between or outgrow. Sites run PHP, Python, Ruby and Node alongside static files, with MySQL and MariaDB offered as managed databases, root SSH, and uploads over SFTP or the control panel.
Worth knowing
The metering is the product, and it cuts both ways: a site with no visitors costs almost nothing, and a site under load costs whatever the load costs, with no ceiling supplied by a plan.
