Blacknight is a Carlow-based Irish host and ICANN-accredited registrar running its own data centres in Carlow and Dublin, with Plesk-based PHP hosting from €4.99 a month.

Owning the hardware is the unusual part at this size. The ladder runs from shared hosting through managed WordPress and cloud VPS to dedicated servers at €149.99, all quoted excluding VAT, and all of it in Ireland — which makes it one of the few places to buy hosting that is Irish in the operational sense rather than in the billing address.
