Alongside it sit VPS, dedicated servers and colocation.

Its distinguishing commercial promise is a price lock — the rate a customer signs up at is undertaken not to rise on renewal, in a segment where an introductory rate that steps up later is the norm. Longer terms are simple multiples of the monthly rate rather than deeper discounts.

Worth knowing

The lock applies to the standing rate, not to the discounted first month, so the first bill and the second are still different numbers. The plan page names no data-centre locations and does not state shell availability or which databases are offered.
