Antagonist is a Dutch host from Enschede selling shared hosting, VPS and domains, with a long-standing reputation in Dutch hosting discussions.

The shared plans are more developer-shaped than most of their class: PHP with a selectable version, but also Python and Node.js, SSH on the plan, Redis, and unlimited MySQL and MariaDB databases. Servers are in the Netherlands and prices are quoted excluding VAT, in the Dutch manner. The entry price is a first-year rate, which is recorded as introductory rather than as the price.
