Simply.com
Danish shared hosting provider selling bundles of web space, mail and a website builder, with a documented public API alongside.
Web space, mail and a builder, bundled.
Simply.com has sold Danish hosting since 2004 and now belongs to team.blue, the European group that has bought up national hosts and registrars across the continent. The shared range is a small ladder of bundles, each combining web space, mailbox storage, a memory allocation and a website designer, with one-click WordPress and WooCommerce on top.
Domains, payment-gateway integration and cookie-consent tooling are sold from the same account, which makes it a small-business package rather than a developer platform: the provider runs everything below the site, and files move by FTP or through the control panel. A public API is documented for automating the account.
Worth knowing
The advertised entry figure is a first-year rate and the standing price is many times higher, so a comparison against a competitor’s ordinary price is not comparing like with like.
Data-centre locations are not stated on the pages that sell the plans; the about page says “primarily in Denmark but also across Europe”, which names one country and gestures at the rest.
