Liquid Web is a hosting provider from Lansing, Michigan, trading since 1997 and specialising in managed VPS, dedicated servers, private and public cloud, and WordPress hosting. Support is the positioning: the product is sold as high-touch and fully managed, under the slogan “Most Helpful Humans in Hosting”.
The company grew by acquisition — Nexcess, and a portfolio of WordPress software brands including iThemes/SolidWP — and several of those brands have since been folded back into Liquid Web. Since 2023 it has belonged to the private-equity firm One Equity Partners under the CloudOne Digital holding.
The product list spans WordPress, cloud, VPS, dedicated, reseller, Magento, WooCommerce, private cloud, HIPAA-compliant, PCI-compliant and email hosting.
