Liquid Web

Liquid Web is a hosting provider from Lansing, Michigan, trading since 1997 and specialising in managed VPS, dedicated servers, private and public cloud, and WordPress hosting. Support is the positioning: the product is sold as high-touch and fully managed, under the slogan “Most Helpful Humans in Hosting”.

The company grew by acquisition — Nexcess, and a portfolio of WordPress software brands including iThemes/SolidWP — and several of those brands have since been folded back into Liquid Web. Since 2023 it has belonged to the private-equity firm One Equity Partners under the CloudOne Digital holding.

The product list spans WordPress, cloud, VPS, dedicated, reseller, Magento, WooCommerce, private cloud, HIPAA-compliant, PCI-compliant and email hosting. No entry price band is recorded here because the cheapest advertised figure on the products page is for email hosting rather than for anywhere to run an application.
