One trick pony. Why not?

Some software makes particular demands of its hosting โ€” integrated caching, image delivery, updates applied for it โ€” and this category bundles them and tunes them for the one application it runs. The term is coined here; the usual vocabulary has no word for the shape. WordPress attracts the most of it, with Craft CMS, TYPO3 and Shopware at a smaller scale, and sometimes the makers host their own software, which is how Laravel Cloud and Craft Cloud came about. The trade is that a stack tuned for one application cannot run another, so leaving is a migration rather than a redeploy.

17 providers are vanity hosting, listed alphabetically. Across 27 countries, commonest entry price $15 to $50 a month.
