Static sites

Combine filters →

Static hosting has nothing to crash: HTML, CSS and images are served from disk or a CDN edge. That makes it the cheapest and most reliable thing to host, and it moves the interesting question to the build — whether the provider runs the site generator on every push, or expects a finished directory. Where a site needs a form or a search, it needs a second service too.

26 providers market themselves for static sites, listed alphabetically. Across 27 countries, commonest entry price $5 to $15 a month. 53 records do not record this field, and cannot appear here either way.
