A group of hosting brands acquired and run under their own names, which renamed itself Hosting.com in 2025 — the record under the name it trades by is Hosting.com. Nobody bought hosting from World Host Group; they bought it from a brand it owned.
Oakley Capital backed the group and merged its Webcentral business into it in 2024, and its portfolio entry is where the rename is recorded.
