thingdust

thingdust is a Swiss company in Lucerne selling two products: office insights, a sensor network that reports desk and meeting-room occupancy, and spaces, a real-time floor-plan display reachable by link or QR code without an account. Both are dashboards thingdust builds and operates on the customer’s behalf — the company’s own spaces page states that thingdust digitizes and maintains the floor plans itself, and that viewing them requires no installation.

Criterion 1 — code the customer deploys and can change — is not satisfied. There is no application, site or infrastructure a customer configures or alters; thingdust supplies the sensors, gateways and dashboard, and operates all of it. This is a managed analytics service, not a platform its customers run.
