STACKIT

STACKIT is the cloud arm of the Schwarz Group, the German retail company behind Lidl and Kaufland, built first to run the group’s own systems and then opened to outside customers.

All four criteria are met, so this is a stub only until the fields are gathered. Prices are published without login, the documentation is public, and compute is bought without a sales call. Recorded as IaaS: what is sold is infrastructure — compute, storage, networking, managed databases and Kubernetes — rather than a platform that takes an application and runs it. Whether the managed Kubernetes belongs under caas as well is worth a second look when the fields are filled.

The sovereignty claim is the reason to read this record carefully rather than the reason to trust it: the pitch is German-operated infrastructure under German law, and the fields that would show what that means in practice — regions, ownership, the DPA — are exactly the ones still empty.
