## Notes

**Listed as a stub because observablehq.com could not be read.** Every fetch of the provider's own site on 2026-09-18 was refused by a bot check or rate limit, including the home page, pricing and docs. The one confirmed fact comes from the provider's own GitHub organization: [Observable Framework](https://github.com/observablehq/framework) is "a free, open-source, static site generator for data apps, dashboards, reports, and more," and its own README mentions `observablehq.cloud` only in passing, as the address hosting one of the project's own example dashboards.

Whether Observable meets any of the five criteria — pricing, documentation, and whether a published data app counts as hosting code the customer deploys, rather than a managed notebook — is unconfirmed.
