Mesa, from Mesa Systems, Inc., hosts git repositories for AI agents to read and write, as its git server page describes. The pricing page includes an allowance of storage and repositories at no charge and meters storage and egress above it.

Criterion 2 — sold to the public — fails. The announcement, dated April 28, 2026, introduced the service as a private beta, and the pricing page still offers early access on request rather than a sign-up.

This reverses when anyone can sign up without asking.
