Katapult was the name Krystal gave to its own cloud platform, selling virtual machines on infrastructure the company built and runs itself rather than reselling.

Criterion 2 — sold to the public — fails, because the brand no longer sells anything. katapult.io redirects to krystal.io/cloud, and that page carries the name Krystal Cloud throughout with no mention of Katapult at all. There is no distinct pricing, no distinct documentation and no separate signup left under the Katapult name, which makes this a rebrand rather than a provider that stopped trading.

The platform itself continues, and is recorded on Krystal.
