A European technology investor, recorded here because it is the largest shareholder in [team.blue](/holdings/team-blue/), the group that holds Combell, TransIP, Loopia and a dozen other brands under their own names. Hg backed the 2019 merger that created team.blue and carries it on its [portfolio page](https://hgcapital.com/portfolio/team-blue). In 2024 it sold part of that holding to CPP Investments and says in its [announcement of the transaction](https://hgcapital.com/insights/team-blue-welcomes-new-investment-from-cpp) that it remains the largest single investor. It describes itself as an investor in European and transatlantic technology and services businesses on its [about page](https://hgcapital.com/about-us/), and sells no hosting under its own name.
