FlokiNET was set up to host free press and whistleblower projects, and it sells the ordinary things — shared hosting, virtual servers, dedicated machines, domains — with that purpose attached. No identification is asked for at sign-up, the services are reachable over Tor, and the choice of country is offered as a feature rather than as a latency figure.

## Worth knowing

Choosing between Iceland, Romania, the Netherlands and Finland is a legal decision more than a technical one. Which jurisdiction suits depends on who might come asking and under what law, which is the question the provider is really selling an answer to.
