A site needs a name before it needs a server, and something has to answer for that name. Both are here because they are one purchase in practice: every registrar runs nameservers, and the operators selling DNS on its own sell registration beside it, so splitting them would make two lists of the same companies.

This page is the hosts that also sell names. The registrars selling no hosting at all are [beside the register](/domains-dns/), because a register of hosting providers that counts them is counting the wrong thing. Whether a host throws a domain in with a plan is a third question again, recorded as [a feature of the plan](/features/domains/) rather than as a line of business.
