Bitbucket Cloud is the git hosting in Atlassian's suite, which is most of the reason it gets chosen: the repository sits beside Jira, and a branch, a pull request and a ticket are the same conversation. The free plan runs to five users and includes a small monthly allowance of build minutes; Standard is $3.65 per user a month and Premium $7.25, with more minutes and storage buyable on top.

## Worth knowing

The five-user ceiling is the thing to check before committing. It is generous for one team and reached the moment a sixth person joins, at which point every seat is billed.
